Dharamshala Skyway

The journey from Dharamshala to McLeodganj has now become accessible faster, with the introduction of Dharamshala Skyway located in Sudher, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. This ropeway facility has paved the way to cover the distance of 5 km from Dharamshala to McLeodganj in just 1.8 km making it speedy and quick while enjoying the spectacular view from a height, witnessing snow-capped mountains, greenery, and small houses and buildings nestled in the area.

• Open from 10 AM - 5 PM, from Monday to Sunday.

• The duration of the ropeway journey is 10-12 minutes.

• This journey starts from the Dharamshala Skyway station (lower station) and lands at McLeodganj station (upper station) near the Dalai Lama temple.

• You can get tickets directly from the counter or can book online at https://www.dharamshalaskyway.in/ticket-booking.

• Price of the tickets:

One way - ₹450

Two way - ₹675

• Mode of payment is available both offline and online.

• The cabin capacity is limited to 8 passengers.

• Taxi stand and paid parking are available depending upon the type of vehicle, near the station of Dharamshala Skyway.
