TARADEVI WATERFALL

Taradevi Waterfall is one of the hidden waterfalls in Shoghi, a hamlet located 16km away from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. It is amongst one of Shimla's beautiful and mesmerizing waterfalls, surrounding its hike and trails with rocks, dried leaves, various kinds of trees, wildflowers, and the breathtaking view of dense valleys under the sky.

To reach Tara Devi Waterfall, you have to complete an adventurous and fun trek of 2 km which begins from the Tara Devi Waterfall Zone, as the starting point. You can reach here through your vehicles and park them conveniently as there are no designated parking spots, and later commence the trek. It is a moderately rough trek and can be performed by anyone, except old citizens and children below 10 years of age. This trek can be challenging because of narrow paths and trails and can take up to 2 hrs to finish for one way. 

The best time to visit Tara Devi Waterfall can be from August to October, the weather at such a period will be cool and pleasant. You must avoid visiting this waterfall during rain as the trails can get slippery and the water flow might rush high, being dangerous.
