YogMatra EcoStay is a 50-year-old Himalayan Mudhouse made traditionally with stones and woods with a mud coating on the interior. The YogMatra-Team meticulously restored and rebuilt the abandoned mansion in 2023, and it now welcomes visitors from all over the world. It is located at an elevation of 2100 metres in the Urgam Valley settlement of Danikhet and offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the magnificent Himalayas. The Brahma Kamal and Dronagiri Peaks may be seen from the balcony. Staying here will provide you with a quiet and true pahadi village experience. The residence has three individual rooms, a four-bed dormitory, and a communal office. The former mudhouse now features a cooking room where the staff makes fresh and local cuisine on a daily basis. Nestled in the heart of raw Himalayan environment, the EcoStay is suitable for individuals who appreciate yoga and meditation, hiking and trekking, and discovering nature's rich fauna.

Key points about the YogMatra EcoStay::Hiking up to the EcoStay takes around 30 minutes (1.2 km). As a result, please bring your belongings in a rucksack.A breathtaking panorama of the entire Urgam Valley awaits you!A workplace is available, as well as good internet connectivity via the Airtel and Jio networks.Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation sessions are available at an additional cost.Treks and overnight camping in and around Urgam Valley are available at an additional cost.Meals are prepared fresh using local and organic produce.Enjoy endless, clean Himalayan spring water for drinking and invigorating showers.We recommend staying for at least 5 days to thoroughly unwind and connect with nature and the pleasant sensations of this region.

Places to Visit in Urgam Valley
Kalpeshwar Mahadev Temple (3.5 miles, one of the Panch Kedars temples). It is also accessible by automobile. Dhyan Badri Temple, one of the Panch and Sapt Badri temples, is located in the village of Barghinda. 2 km Banga Pani Trek through deep bush. It is open all year round. Kemkud Meadow, the queen of all meadows, is 6 kilometres long.Trek to Feula Narayan Temple, 4 kilometres from Kalpeshwar Mahadev Temple. It  is open all year round. Trek 10 kilometres to Bansi Narayan Temple. The famed 35-kilometer journey to Rudranath (one of the Panch Kedar temples). Villagers journey 32 kilometres to Nandi Kund to collect Brahma Kamal, which is offered to Lord Shiva.
