Post-monsoon (October to November): The waterfall still has a good flow, and the weather is pleasant, making it another good time to visit. The landscape remains green, and the area is less crowded.

Summer (March to May): The flow of the waterfall significantly reduces, and the weather can be hot and humid. It's not the ideal time for visiting, but the forest can still offer some shade and a peaceful environment.

4. How to Get There:

The nearest town is Valpoi, and you can hire a taxi or rent a scooter to reach the base of the trek. 

5. Parking:

Informal Parking Area: At the base of the trek, you’ll find an open space where visitors can park their vehicles. It’s not a formal parking lot but usually safe to leave cars or two-wheelers.

No designated parking attendants: There might not be any attendants or security, so it’s advisable to lock your vehicle properly and avoid leaving valuables inside. 

6. Height:

Netralem Waterfall has an approximate height of 50 to 60 meters (around 165 to 200 feet). It cascades down a rocky cliff amidst lush green surroundings, especially during the monsoon season, creating a picturesque sight.

7. Activities:

Trekking: A light trek is required to reach the waterfall, offering beautiful views of the forest and local flora.

Photography and birdwatching: Netralem Waterfall is a great spot for nature photography, especially after the rains. Keep an eye out for local birds and wildlife.

Swimming: You can enjoy swimming at the base of the waterfall, but be cautious during the monsoon season due to strong currents.

Luxury stay options: For those seeking a more luxurious experience, you can stay in resorts in nearby towns like Mollem or Ponda, where you can find rooms ranging from ₹4000 upwards.
